Growing up in Northern Michigan, Jerome Rand had a late start in the world of sailing. It wasn’t until the age of 18 that sailing became the main focus of his life. First teaching sailing on the small inland lakes and then venturing out on yacht deliveries from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean. On one trip to the BVI he was introduced to the Bitter End Yacht Club and found himself working with the watersports center for the next 9 years.
It was during the last three years at BEYC that the pieces of a long-held dream started to take shape, to sail solo and nonstop around the world. On a small budget he purchased a 43 year old Westsail 32 and began the journey of a lifetime. The first year was spent fixing, breaking and fixing again anything that might be a weak point on the boat. In June of 2017 the boat, “Mighty Sparrow” was hauled out of the water and work began making modifications to endure the long trip ahead.
In October the boat was back in the water and weather window opened up to set out from Gloucester Massachusetts following a few nervous weeks watching hurricane Irma, Maria and then Jose storm through the Atlantic. On October 3 rd Jerome Rand set sail aboard the Mighty Sparrow for what would be a 271 day sail and the adventure of a life time.
To reach home, the boat would have to cross the North Atlantic during the end of Hurricane season then cross the South Atlantic on the way to the stormy seas of the Southern Ocean near the Cape of Good Hope. From there it was South of Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand on route to Cape Horn. Once around the Five Great Capes the boat turned North, heading for warm weather and a friendly ocean.
After two months of retracing the outbound track, on June 30 2018, the Mighty Sparrow sailed into Gloucester Mass after 9 months and 29,805 miles sailed. The journey tested every limit both mental and physical, from fierce winds to demoralizing calms, and everything in between. In the end it was perseverance and a bit of luck that would see this small boat through some of the world’s most dangerous seas.

The Empire State of the South has struck a resounding chord in the great American idiom Country Music. Producing artists as diverse as Zac Brown Band, Travis Tritt, and the Allman Brothers Band, Georgia has proven itself a showcase for the southern music scene. Now the Peach State is sending another son into the world of American music, Mike Lowry. He’s breathed in the smoke-filled air of hole-in-the-wall rib joints and felt the clickety-clak of the freights driving straight thru to Atlanta and that influence shines through in the true-to-life stories he tells through his songwriting and his virtuosic guitarmanship.
But native talent alone cannot make an artist great, it requires the journey of finding one’s self and the recognition of their own unique perspective. That journey has taken Lowry down many roads, but on his third album, Lowry’s train is pulling into the station.

Bio:
I began singing from the age of four years old, but proceeded to pursue athletics instead. I played softball during elementary school and then took up cheerleading in middle school. Cheerleading continued through my freshman year in high school, where I was a member of both the Junior Varsity football cheerleading squad and the Varsity competition squad.
Becoming extremely disenchanted with the affair, I decided to try out for the volleyball team. I was a member of the Varsity team during my sophomore, junior, and senior year. Over the three years, I received honorable mention (sophomore), first team all-county (junior, senior), team MVP (junior, senior), player of the year (senior), and was a member of the Georgia All-Star volleyball team (senior).
While in between high school seasons, I participated in the Junior Olympic Volleyball program. My senior year ended with me receiving a volleyball scholarship to Valdosta State University. I started as a defense specialist as a freshman. After the 2001 season, I moved back to Atlanta and worked.
In July of 2002, I decided to pick up the guitar. In August, I went to Georgia Southern University and played volleyball there for two years. Getting nowhere with my music, I decided to move back to Atlanta and try to do something. Once I got back, I started playing at local open mic venues and began to receive offers for shows. In 2005, I played my first solo show and have been playing frequently since then.
Over the years, I have written several songs and in November of 2005, I decided to professionally record a few of them. After almost a year, the project was finally completed.
Currently, I play around town 3-4 nights a week. The shows consist of either, solo, duo, or band gigs. A new project is in the works so new music will be available soon!

MosesMo is the original guitarist and founding member of the legendary funk rock group Mother’s Finest. MosesMo has been a part of a group for 40 years and the band of brothers and sisters have been very good to him. He has always been a songwriter, musician, and performer since he was 14 years old. MosesMo invested most of his entire life in a group and now, he’s looking to build a brand of his own with the songs written, recorded and produced by him, using his skills as an engineer and producer with those of the very talented Jeff Tomei. He has always been a part of the process, NOW . . . the decisions and direction lies with him. MosesMo has a vocal range of his own, with ideas to develop and determined to discover more of what he can do.

Jamie Williams and the Roots Collective exist on an imaginary tightrope
stretching between The Rolling Stones and The Eagles.
Settled into the current super-tight lineup after many years and hundreds of shows the band is on fire right now, bringing their own style of Country Blues, Rock & Americana. Playing festivals, theatres, clubs & pubs including a couple of recent rapturous nights at London's legendary 100 Club their ethos is always to have fun and make sure the crowd does too. This is not a band that stands onstage staring at their (red) shoes. They’ve shared line-ups with likes of Bellowhead, Wilko Johnson, The Darkness, The Pretty Things, Jefferson Starship, Eric Burdon, Carl Palmer, The Blues Band, Stray, David Knopfler, The Quireboys, Dr Feelgood, Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, The Yardbirds, Eddi Reeder & the Animals to name but a few.
